At Heartspring, we have a number of social groups and clubs to help your child learn and grow.
Financial assistance is available for all Heartspring CARE Clubs and PEERS Groups except Music Therapy.
CARE Clubs
The Community Awareness, Resources, and Education (CARE) program offers a wide range of social skill-building opportunities. Our goal is to help neurodiverse children and teens learn valuable skills necessary for social and emotional development. Each club is tailored to fit the individual needs of the participants.
- Focuses on friendship-forming social skills
- Activities-based groups
- Sensory activities
- Team-building games
- Science experiments
- Meets twice a month for a semester
- Ages: middle and high school

CARE Clubs Application
NEW! Music Therapy CARE Club
Led by Heartspring Board Certified Music Therapist Roxanne Nelson, this CARE Club is for neurodiverse children and teens who enjoy music.
- Focuses on the social experience of music while nurturing functional skill development.
- Spring, summer, and fall semesters.
- 8 weekly, 1.5-hour sessions
- $400/semester
- Ages vary based by semester.
- Summer 2024: ages 6-12

Social Skills Group Therapy: PEERS® for Adolescents
The Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills (PEERSĀ®) provides evidence-based social skills treatment for adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, anxiety, depression, and other socio-emotional problems.
- Focuses on making and keeping friends
- 16 weekly, 1.5-hour sessions
- Ages: middle and high school
- Conducted by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Group Therapy for insurance billing
- Parents attend a follow-up session and are provided information on how to assist their teen.
